We aim to provide an inclusive learning environment to support all our children whether they have exceptional abilities and talents or face particular challenges in their learning, or have medical or emotional needs. We have a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and a Pastoral Support worker. Together we make sure that appropriate access to the curriculum is available for all children. The kind of support your child may receive whilst with us might include:
- The opportunity to work with a group of child with similar abilities on a regular basis.
- Small group work to boost or develop a skill.
- Extra opportunities to boost of develop a skill
- A planned programme of additional and different support to meet their individual needs.
- Access to outside agencies e.g. speech and language therapy, Educational Psychologist etc.
As well as supporting children we also want to support parents who have inclusion needs and parents who have children with additional needs. As a result, this page is designed to give parents/carers access to any of the information you may require regarding additional needs provision at St Peter's Church of England Primary School.

This document outlines what we do to ensure equality for all.
All children have gifts and talents and we also ensure that children with particular strengths are stretched and motivated in their learning. This leaflet explains a little more.
