Admissions
Your child’s first days in school
From the moment you know that your child has a place at St Peter’s we want to work with you to make sure that your child has a very successful start to their formal education. Our reception classes provide highly stimulating spacious environments with a wealth of varied learning experiences. “All the children are very well known to the staff, who keep a close eye on their charges, paying keen attention to their care and welfare” (OFSTED report).
“Teaching is excellent…..children achieve outstandingly well …. Excellent relationships are a feature of daily life in the Reception classes” (OFSTED report)
Once your child has a place we offer a number of extra activities including information sessions for parents, and class visits for children. Early in the academic year we also offer appointments to all parents so that you have a chance to let us know all about your child, their learning and any particular needs they may have.
