It is of paramount importance that staff, children, parents and those in our wider community are safe at this time. Risk Assements are rigorous and reviewed frequently. See below for copies of our most recently updated risk assessments.
Our school is currently open to children of critical workers and also our most vulnerable pupils. For those who are learning from home, remote learning provision (provided on Microsoft Teams) is ambitious and strong across all year groups. All teachers are delivering our planned curriculum offer through a combination of live and recorded lessons, and whole class, small group and individually targeted provision. We are glad to report that daily attendance is currently between 96 and 98%. Please see the attachments below for further details of our remote learning offer.
Whatever the projected impact of Covid-19 on pupils’ learning and the continuing disruption to the daily work of schools, what matters now is how we respond in the upcoming academic year. An evidence-informed response can help in restoring vital learning routines and ensure both pupils and teachers will have the best chance of success in a school year unlike any other.
