Victoria Green

Co-Opted Governor and Chair of Governing Board

I am currently the South West Regional Head of a large legal practice.   I qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and was a partner in a large high street practice before specialising in criminal law.  I have a strong track record of delivering performance improvements and motivating large teams. I have undertaken significant change projects during challenging times.  I have experience in dealing with finance, HR and legal matters and am known for my good judgement and sound decision making.  I hope to bring the skills from the legal world into my role as a Governor and work with others to make the school the best it can be.

Rebecca Fuller

Foundation Governor and Vice Chair

I have a background in education, having taught in Primary schools in Cambridgeshire for many years but have recently changed careers and am now working for the ambulance service.  My daughter went to St Peter's and my two boys are still pupils at the school. In my role as a foundation governor, I am committed to maintaining the positive links between school and the local church and to work in collaboration with staff and pupils to ensure that St Peter's continues to be a welcoming and inclusive school. 

I am the link governor for SEND and disadvantaged pupils and support the governing body in the role of vice chair and sit on the Ethos committee.

Dee Adam

Foundation Governor

I was brought up in the beach side suburbs of Melbourne, Australia and moved to Portishead in 2009 and work as a Business Agility Coach for a large financial institution. My son previously attended St Peter's for 7 memorable years. 

I am an active member of the Portishead Parish and am keen to support the development of thoughtful, responsible and inclusive young people within the school. 

My passions include music, cricket, bird watching, food and travelling.

I am a link governor for Standards and Curriculum.

Rob Eastwood Dewing

Foundation Governor

Rob has been Team Rector of Portishead since 2016, during which time he has been a regular visitor to St Peter's school, leading worship and participating in RE lessons amongst other activities.

One of Rob’s daughters was at St Peter's until July 2020 and the other was an LSA until July 2021.

Before being ordained, Rob taught History and was head of department in a High School in Staffordshire.

Over the last 20 years, Rob has been a governor in voluntary aided, voluntary controlled and community schools.

I am Chair of the Ethos and Standards Committee.

I am currently a Senior Manager in Data Engagement for a large high street bank. My career has led me to acquire strong skills in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, cultural diversity and inclusion and performance improvement. As a family, we recently moved to the area from London and my Son has joined St Peter's. I am honoured to be a part of the school governing board representing the parents and I am excited to support St Peter's achieve it's strategic objectives by being the best it can be for our children and the community.

Francis Galloway

I am a Senior Engineer with 10 years’ industry experience currently working in the energy sector for a global engineering consultancy. I have a background in engineering analysis.

As a Parent Governor I welcome the opportunity to be able to contribute back to the school and wider community. I am excited to help St Peter’s to deliver its vision and ensure that the school continues to thrive and remains an inclusive and wonderful place for pupils to learn.

I am the link governor for Health & Safety and a member of the Resources Committee.

Alan Newton

Co-opted Governor

I am a life insurance Actuary and have been working in the Finance sector for 15 years. My areas of expertise are analytics and numeracy, which I feel I am able to put to good use when reviewing the school’s academic performance and financial position.

My daughter is a pupil at St Peter’s.  I am passionate about St. Peter’s and want to do anything I can to ensure the school continues to thrive.

I have been a teacher at St. Peter's since 2017 following my graduation from UWE Bristol. Being a teacher here has given me a wide range of opportunities to grow from an early career teacher to a member of the experienced teaching team. I became a governor in 2022 because I wanted to further develop my knowledge and understanding of the wider running of the school, and to represent the teachers' voice on the governing body. I look forward to continuing in my governance role as we seek to sustain and further develop excellence at St Peter's.

I have worked in education for 23 years and have spent the last 10 years at St Peter's.  During my time here, I have been based in year 6, but have also worked in other year groups.  My roles have included Teaching Assistant, Higher Level Teaching Assistant and class teacher.  Building relationships with the children I work with, and helping them to achieve their potential, is very important to me.

I live in Portishead with my husband and two children.
