Parent View and Feedback

At St Peter's we value strong and honest relationships with parents, and carers, and always take parental feedback seriously.  We are committed to always doing all we can to make our school even better. It is always great to receive positive feedback too and we have been overwhelmed by the number of emails and messages from parents throughout the lockdown period - thank you for taking the time to share this with us as it means a huge amount to staff.

Every two years we commission a very detailed  parent survey to make sure that we are keeping in touch with parents' views on all that we do and provide. We share the full survey report with our Local Governing Body and discuss findings in detail with them.

We were exceptionally pleased with the results in March 2019 with many of the questions showing an increase in positive responses with a good number of questions approaching 100% approval ratings.  In March 2019 we have 394 responses to our survey.

Some of the highlights of the 2019 survey  were:

"My child is taught well at this school" - 99% positive response

"Staff expect my child to work hard and do his/her best" - 99% positive response

"My child is making good progress at this school" - 96% positive response

"My child feels safe at this school" - 98% positive response

"My child is well looked after at this school - 98% positive response

"My child is happy at this school" - 96% positive response

"I would recommend this school to another parent"  97% positive response
