Year 6

In Year 6, we get to know each other and develop our independence through our residential trip to Mill on the Brue, where we spend a whole school week challenging ourselves to new outdoor activities. We delve deeper into the exciting world of history, becoming experts in World War Two and enjoying books like Friend or Foe by Michael Morpurgo, which inspires our creative writing. In maths, we work hard to develop our knowledge of number and become confident in arithmetic skills that will help us in real life scenarios. Finally, to end our year with a bang, we put on an epic production – you’ll have to wait to find out what show we’ll be performing each year, though!

Oak Class Miss Cat Dane
Maple Class Miss Hannah Taylor

Learning across year 6 is also supported by Mrs Natasha Senior, Mrs Mary Southey, Mrs Sara Board & Mrs Katie Moule.

Mrs Emma Gomes will be returning in Term 2 to support the cohort with intervention groups.
